The tour starts from your hotel and continues to Mtskheta – the ancient capital of the Eastern Georgian Kingdom from the 3rd century BCE to 5th century CE.
Gori – the regional capital of Shida Kartli. The name comes from Georgian word Gora – the hill. Joseph Stalin’s museum and Gori Castle are the main attractions of the city.
Uplistsikhe – ancient rock-hewn town that witnessed key events of Georgian history. The complex has been on the tentative list for inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage program since 2007.

We pick you up from your hotel and head to Mtskheta - former capital of Georgia
Mtskheta - city of ancient temples. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral – translated from the Georgian as a life-giving pillar. Built in 1010, it has been the main temple of Georgia.
Jvari monastery - built in the 7th century, surrounded with amazing views.
Optional - lunch can be arranged in either a local Georgian iconic restaurant or any of the vintage cafes with beautiful views for photo-shooting.
65 km road trip to Gori.
Gori - the old fortress up on the hill! Optionally, we can visit museum of Joseph Stalin or Gori Historical and Ethnographic Museum.
Half an hour drive to Uplistsikhe.
Trip to Uplistsikhe - city crafted in rocks! Here you need your walking shoes.
2 hour drive back to Tbilisi. We can arrange dinner for you in one of the restaurants on the way.
