If you love hearing old stories behind of what you see, this tour is for you! It covers history of the central part of the city and all its major landmarks, as well as old capital of Georgia – Mtskheta from the sky! The 15 minute flight will allow you check the antique city from the air and be sure that it is a real state of art.
One of the oldest cities of Georgia, it is located approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) north of Tbilisi. You’ve probably seen photos of the famous confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. Now it’s time to see it on your own! We will see “The Monastery of the Cross”, Jvari is a 6th Century Monastery that is, coincidentally, in the shape of a cross.
Also, Svetitskhoveli, which is arguably the most well known cathedral in Georgia. It is one of the biggest, 10-century old temple. Both buildings are UNESCO World Heritage listing because of their glorious architecture.

Tour starts from your hotel in Tbilisi and continues to famous Mtskheta.
old town - Svetitskhoveli and its surroundings. You can have a look at souvenirs and local stuff in the city market.
We will continue to “The Monastery of the Cross”, Jvari monastery, high in the mountains and have a look at the magnificent view of two rivers joining, with the city of the red roofs on the background.
trip to Natakhtari airport. Optional lunch can be arranged at your own cost on the way in a famous "Salobie" restaurant in Mtskheta, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicious menu.
